Abstract
Hunting tourism, although not a very famous business sector especially to Greece, may sometimes become a source of insustainability at rural areas. This happens when many hunters demand the same game in specific areas. This may cause, from economic perspective, the disappointment of hunting tourists due to the lack of available space for hunting and it can become a potential loss for the organisations that operate in rural areas and earn money from the game hunting tourism activities. Thessaloniki’s hunters are tested in the present research for the examination of the above facts.

Περίληψη
Στην παρούσα εργασία εξετάζεται η συμπεριφορά των κυνηγών ορτυκίου του νομού Θεσσαλονίκης με στόχο να διαπιστωθούν περιπτώσεις μη αειφορικής άσκησης του κυνηγίου. Μέσω ερωτηματολογίων και της Ανάλυσης κατά Συστάδες σε Δύο Βήματα διαπιστώνονται τρεις ομάδες κυνηγών ορτυκίου και διάφορες πιθανές περιπτώσεις μη αειφορίας. Η ανάλυση αυτή μπορεί να βοηθήσει στο να αποφευχθεί πίεση στο θηραματικό είδος, αλλά και να αποφευχθεί οικονομική απώλεια στις επιχειρήσεις που λειτουργούν στην περιφέρεια και εξαρτώνται από τον κυνηγετικό τουρισμό.
